Where Two or More are Gathered
Traditionally, this is the consolation verse when you only have a handful of believers gathered together. Jesus certainly did not intend this to be the case at all. In the context that Jesus said this, He presented a dramatic paradigm shift to the subject of evangelism, the establishment of churches, and the personal involvement of the Living God.
